'8.1lbs of prime Irish double champion beef!' - UFC legend Conor McGregor shares pictures of fourth child

UFC icon Conor McGregor has announced the birth of his fourth child.

The former dual-weight champion took to X - previously known as Twitter - to reveal that his long-time partner, Dee Devlin, and their newborn baby boy are doing well.

McGregor tweeted: “My baby boy is born!

"Mammy and baby doing amazing, 8.1lbs of prime Irish double champion beef!"

Hours later, the MMA icon posted a series of snaps of the new member of the McGregor clan.

Alongside a number of pictures with the baby and Devlin, his McGregor said on Instagram: Another chunky healthy boy into the world. Dee you are my hero [heart and praying emojis]."

McGregor became a father for the first time in May 2017 when Conor Jr was born.

Six years later, he appears to be a chip off the old block and set to follow his famous father into fighting after training in various combat sports for much of his short life.

Croia, McGregor’s only daughter, was born in January 2019.

Earlier this year, the Irishman branded himself the ‘Proudest Daddy in the whole world’ as he accompanied his little one, 4, during her first day at school.

A definite pattern started to emerge when McGregor’s third child, a boy named Rian, arrived in May 2021 – all of the kids he shares with Devlin are separated by two years in age.

“Baby and Mammy Wonder Woman are doing great! God I thank you for everything you give to me and my family in this world. 

“My new born son, Rian McGregor.”  

McGregor will enjoy Christmas with his growing family before refocusing on his eagerly anticipated return from the broken leg he suffered at UFC 264 in July 2021.

The 35-year-old is booked to fight lightweight contender Michael Chandler, but their clash is currently without a date, weight, or venue – although UFC CEO Dana White is expected to reveal all soon.

John Kavanagh, who has coached McGregor since he was a teenager, recently told talkSPORT that his star pupil will return to the Octagon before the end of June 2024.

UFC 300, which is being targeted for April, is seen by many as the perfect comeback card for ‘Mystic Mac’, but only time will tell if he headlines MMA premier promotion’s latest landmark show.

For now, McGregor will just be concentrating on his wife and children.
