2023 Fireworks and Fourth of July Celebrations

July 4th is just around the corner and it's time to start planning! Our family loves celebrating Independence Day, and there's nothing quite like summer holidays and fireworks! Check out these great events to help your family celebrate in Bradenton and beyond! Check back often - we will continue to add new events to this list as they pop up!

July 1 | 6PM to 10PM: Red, White and Blueberry Celebration ~ Fiorelli Winery & Vineyard will be hosting their annual Red, White and Blueberry Celebration.  FREE to attend, with food trucks, live music by Santiago's Solo Sounds, drink specials, craft vendors, pony rides, fun for the whole family and fireworks to end the night!  

July 2 | 9AM and 10:30AM services: Freedom Celebration ~ The annual First Sarasota Freedom Celebration is a community-wide celebration featuring inspiring patriotic music with the First Sarasota Choir & Orchestra along with a kids choir! This year we're excited to welcome Barry C. Black, the U.S. Senate Chaplain as our special guest!

July 3 | 5PM to 10PM: Nathan Benderson Park Fireworks on the Lake ~ This year’s NBP Fireworks on the Lake Driven by Lamborghini Sarasota will feature live music by Kettle of Fish, a kid's zone, food trucks, the Publix Fireworks 5K on the Lake, family-friendly activities, and a spectacular fireworks show around 9PM.  The fireworks show will also be viewable on WWSB ABC 7 on Tuesday, July 4 at 9PM.  General Admission: Free / VIP Viewing Experience: $75 per / Regatta Island Parking: $30 / South Lot Parking: $20 cars/$50 RVs.

July 3 | 6:30PM: July 3rd Celebration with the Bradenton Marauders Game ~ Catch one of the Marauder's biggest games of the season verses the Clearwater Threshers at 6:30PM.  The July 3rd celebration features one of our biggest postgame fireworks shows of the year AND a jersey auction benefitting M.O.T.S.! July 3-4: Sarasota Jungle Gardens Independence Weekend Special ~ July 3rd and 4th Purchase one adult same day admission, get one (equal or lesser value) 1/2 off – Tickets must be purchased online using promo code FWORKS23.

July 3-9 | All Day: Happy Birthday America Themed Weekend ~ Celebrate America's birthday with the people who know how to throw a party best - Sun Outdoors Sarasota! A week filled with patriotic events like site decorating, tie-dye & costume contest.  Activities included with price of admission.

July 4 | 9AM to 12PM:  Longboat Key's Freedom Fest and Hot Diggity Dog Parade ~ Celebration begins at 9AM with a parade, then into the park with games and crafts for the kids, a butterfly release, waffles with strawberries and whipped cream, ponies, the famous “Hot Diggety Dog” contest sponsored by the Longboat Key Rotary Club–Prizes awarded for most patriotic, most creative dog costume, and for best owner and dog combination. Kids are welcome to decorate their bikes, wagons, and themselves and march in the parade.

July 4 | 10AM to 12PM:Happy 4th of July at The Children's Garden ~ Find the American Flags hidden around the Garden for a red, white & blue goody bag while supplies last.  Included in park admission.

July 4 | 10AM: Anna Maria Privateers 4th of July Parade and Water Fight ~ The Privateers are excited to celebrate our country's birthday and our rights of freedom and independence fought for and protected. This parade does involve water!  For those who want to participate in the water fight, parade spectators can "attack" the parade floats and floats "attack" the parade spectators using SAFE water toys in a modern-day pirate battle.

July 4 | 1PM to 5PM:4th of July Skate at Astro Skate ~ Open 1PM to 5PM.  Free Hot Dogs for kids and Shrimp for Adults for the first 30 minutes!  Wear ANY Astro Shirt, get $1 Admission / Rental Extra. Regular Price $8+Rental.

July 4 | 4PM to 10PM:The Fourth St Pete Pier ~ This event is filled with fun activities for all, including the 3rd annual St. Pete Pier Run, Craft Beer Garden, Uncle Sam’s Market, Family Fun Zone, Food Trucks & Vendors, Live Music on the Visit St. Pete Clearwater Main Stage, roaming entertainers, and so much more!

July 4 | 5PM to 10PM:Freedom Festival ~ The City of North Port’s annual Freedom Festival will kick-off at 5PM at CoolToday Park. This family-friendly signature event will include fun activities, great vendors, plenty of food options, and of course, fireworks (starting at 9PM).

July 4 | 5PM to 10PM: Palmetto's 12th Annual Fourth Fest ~ Our headliner this year is the band Great White with opening act Darryl Worley! Also come and enjoy local food trucks, vendors, and family fun!  Free.

July 4 | 5PM to 10PM:Red, White and BOOM ~ Hosted by The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature.  Grab a seat or bring your blanket to our Riverside Plaza for a front-row view of the fireworks over the Manatee River. Local food truck, Willy-Yums, will be vending delicious bites while you can cool off a sweet treat from Kona Ice. Thirsty? There will be a cash/card bar for adult beverages, soda, and water while you sit back and relax for the show. We’ll even have activities to keep your kids entertained!  Tickets $25 / Ages 0 to 4 are free.

July 4 | 5PM to 10PM: Fourth of July All-American Cookout ~ Hosted by Selby Gardens Downtown Sarasota location.  Savor All-American favorites (available for purchase) from the Michael’s on East Grill, Uncle Dave’s Popcorn, The Purple Belle Ice Cream Truck, and Kona Ice. Enjoy family-friendly activities and games on the Great Lawn, and then take in the spectacular fireworks display over Sarasota Bay.  General Admission: Members $25 / Non-Members $35 / Children ages 5-17 $10 / Children 4 and Under FREE.

July 4 | 7PM to 10PM:Independence Day Buffet at Pier 22 ~ In a salute to the red, white, and starry blue, we get patriotic with Fireworks over the Manatee River and an Independence Day Buffet on the waterside terrace.  Table reservations and tickets are required for access to the pier: Includes an all-you-can-eat buffet and soft drinks.  Adults: $100 plus tax and service charge / Children Under 10: $39.99 plus tax and service charge.

July 4:Siesta Key Community Fireworks ~ Fireworks are blasted off just north of the volleyball courts, so viewing is good from anywhere south and along Crescent Beach (south of Siesta Public Beach), out on the Gulf, or from the Intracoastal waterway. - approximately 9PM.

July 4:Bayfront Fireworks Spectacular ~ Viewing is free from anywhere downtown including Bayfront Park and Island Park. Show starts around 9PM.

July 4:Manatee River Fireworks~ Fireworks are launched from the Green Bridge fishing pier and are viewable from nearly all of the Riverwalk.  Show starts around 9PM.

July 4:City of Venice Fireworks ~ Fireworks will be shot from the South Jetty on July 4 shortly after 9PM and will last an estimated 30 minutes.
