4 Untraditional Cover-Ups To Wear To The Beach This Weekend, Courtesy Of Mara Hoffman

It doesn't get cooler than a caftan (think Talitha Getty in Morocco!), and you can score a much more affordable version of this chic one. Head to a vintage store and snap up a silk robe, then ditch the belt and wear it wide open.
Rompers can look juvenile out in the real world, but on the beach, they're playful and fun. Nobody does youthful prints quite like Mara Hoffman.
The more sophisticated version is a jumpsuit, which will look utterly fabulous with a brightly colored bandeau top peeking out beneath that plunge. Add jewelry and a cardigan and you're party-ready in an instant.
What do you think, ladies? What kinds of untraditional cover-ups do you wear? (I've also been known to turn old cocktail frocks into super-sequiny beachwear!). Check out the full Mara Hoffman spring swim collection at her site, then discuss!
