‘African snow’: Reactions as ice rains in Jos

A Twitter user, @EfeJoshua4, has shared a video of a hailstorm that reportedly happened today in Jos, the Plateau state capital.

Established in the year 1915 as a tin transport site, Jos, the capital of Plateau state, is a place in Nigeria known for its unusual weather. It is located in the northern part of Nigeria, has a population of about 1,000,000 and is one of Nigeria’s urban cities.

In the video shared, the atmosphere was very cloudy and rooftops were pelted with hailstones as well as rain falling from the sky.

Many reacted to the video with hilarious comments about the strange weather.
