American Horror Story Season 7: Everything We Know So Far

Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters are returning.

Murphy dropped this factoid at the Television Critics Association conference. No word yet on who else is joining the cast, but you should expect many of the usual suspects: Lily Rabe, Emma Roberts, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Matt Bomber, and Finn Wittrock.

Billy Eichner will have a recurring role.

Deadline reports that Eichner will play a close confidant to Paulson's character who wears "mysterious tank tops." He will appear in six or seven of the season's 11 episodes.

Billie Lourd is joining the cast.

News broke in early April that Lourd, who made her TV debut on Ryan Murphy's Scream Queens, is joining the cast of AHS season seven. There's no word yet on her character—or if this means Scream Queens is coming to an end.

Paulson's season-seven character isn't tied to the media.

The second news broke that season seven was election-themed, fans started pushing for Paulson to play Trump's right-hand woman, Kellyanne Conway. But this won't happen: According to Refinery29, AHS executive producer Brad Falchuk said that Paulson's character was not "intentionally written about the media."
