Anger and club breaking? | Golf Monthly

And I'm ashamed to admit that I snapped a hybrid after a particularly bad shot. In my defence I had already ordered its replacement and this was the last round that is was going to play.
I suppose like most golfers I don't get angry while I'm playing well, I also don't get angry when I'm playing terrible. I tend to get upset when my game is just slightly off. During these times I tend to hit my bag with the golf club, which avoids damage to the course but my bag is suffering for it.
I wouldn't say that my playing partners feel uncomfortable while I'm in a strop because they are all my friends and the tantrums are quite rare and only last about 3 seconds as I tend to forget about shots very quickly. Plus they just take the pi$$ out of me when it happens so we just crack on and joke about it.
When I was younger and immature I threw the odd club but I haven't for sometime now. I did throw my glove into the woods the other week though, not sure why.
I've made myself sound like I have a right temper on the course, in reality these events are few and far between
