Ashley Graham Calls for Body Diversity at Miss USA Pageant

Ashley Graham is basically a real life superhero, breaking boundaries wherever she goes.

After the runaway success of her new curve-celebrating swimsuit line, the model and body activist was invited to host backstage at the Miss USA pageant over the weekend, and she used the platform to move pageants to include women of all shapes and sizes.

"The fact that they've asked me to come and speak backstage means that there is more feeling of diversity of beauty," Graham says told People. "I'm really excited about the fact that they're so open to the inclusion of so many different types of beauty, because for so long [America] has been going one way—America has finally caught on...I would like to see diversity of body shape, sizes, ethnicities and ages in every realm."
