Meanwhile, after talking to Billy about a typical workweek, I think I want his schedule. Check this out: "Shooting on Wednesdays works out great for us. I love it. Some days we will do a table read on Thursdays or Friday, that takes about an hour, and then do a rehearsal, which is about four or five hours. Then Friday night, we'll get a script that has some adjustments in it, and then we get our weekend, which is great. On Monday, we'll do the network run-through. Then we'll get a different script and some adjustments from that one. And then we'll shoot stuff that would take too long to do during the live taping. Like if the dog is here, or if we have kids on set. We'll do that on Tuesday. That's like 10 A.M. to 7 P.M. Wednesday we come in around noon, and we'll do one more run-through for our creator, Mark Roberts. He'll tweak a few things, then we'll have a two-hour break, and then at 6:30, it's live. It's awesome. It's really awesome." Well, it also helps that they are such amazing actors.
I also caught up with fellow St. Louisan Cleo King, who plays Nana. She is seriously such a doll. So what's on tap for her summer until season four gets under way? "Traveling! I'm going to Hawaii. We just adopted a little four-year-old boy. He's been home for six months, and he's getting ready to turn five. He's the most beautiful little spirit. We adopted him from California. I knew that being a mommy was a lifelong dream, but it's better than I ever imagined. He's just a blessing, a gift, and a dream. He's very jealous of me and Reno's relationship. He says, 'Mom, that's just make believe, right? He's not your real grandson?' [Laughs]
