Blogger Ellen Attard of Ellen in the Kitchen says it best: "So this isn't really a recipe. It's more like an idea to make s'mores cookies better." That's the kind of forward thinking we need more of in this world. Don't rest on your laurels! A delicious cookie isn't enough. Make it better!
So, you're reading this right now and you're like, stop talking and tell me how to make s'mores cookies. And you know what? I will. Because there's really nothing more to say than what this picture is already saying:
Ingredients:
—One batch of your favorite chocolate chip cookies (Ellen likes this recipe, substituting chocolate chips for the M&Ms)
—8 graham crackers
—About 12 large marshmallows
—1 jumbo chocolate bar, broken into pieces
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Mix up your favorite cookie recipe and chill the dough overnight.
Break graham crackers in half so you have 16 squares; arrange in a single layer on bottom of pan with no space in between.
Spoon large portions of cookie dough onto each square (about 1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons each)
Bake 5 to 6 minutes and remove from the oven. The cookies should be starting to spread but not fully baked. Distribute the marshmallows and chocolate pieces evenly among the cookies:
