Confused boxing fans think Oleksandr Usyk is walked to ring by X Factor legend Wagner before Daniel Dubois fight

Boxing fans around the UK did a double-take during Oleksandr Usyk's ring walk for the Daniel Dubois fight on Saturday night.

The WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight world champion emerged to his usual ring Ukrainian walk song 'Brothers', but this time did so with a live performance from a singer.

When the camera panned to the artist, fans were confused as he shared a remarkable likeness to 2010 X Factor contestant Wagner, whose eccentric appearance and performances made him a cult hero in the UK.

Sadly though, it was just an uncanny lookalike and not the man himself.

Despite this, many fans still joked about the comparison.

One asked: "Is that Wagner?"

A second said: "Genuinely thought this was Wagner from the X Factor doing the walk on music for Usyk."

And a third wrote: "Wagner's walking Usyk out."

A fourth boxing fan commented: "Wagner has come a long way since X Factor!! He is now singing for Oleksandr Usyk's walk out."
