CrossFire X Xbox Game Pass Status and Price

CrossFire X is supposed to be the beginning of a new era for the franchise on consoles real soon, but will it be available for free for Xbox Game Pass subscribers?

CrossFire is a very well-known franchise in China and South Korea with millions of active players. You can almost think of it as a CSGO for the Eastern Asian players.

For the first, the series will be coming into consoles as the developer, Smilegate, is looking to expand the franchise into the western countries as well.

Is CrossFire X Coming to Xbox Game Pass?

Yes, it will be available on Xbox Game Pass, but not completely. The story-driven campaign of CrossFire X has two different parts, of which only the first part will be free for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. So, you will be able to play Operation Catalyst for free, but for Operation Specter, you need to buy the game.

On the other hand, the multiplayer section of CrossFire X will be completely free-to-play for Xbox players, no matter you have a Game Pass subscription or not.

How Much Does CrossFire X Campaign Mode Cost?

CrossFire X is available for pre-order in three different packages. Do note that only purchasing the CrossFire X Ultimate Package will grant you access to both campaign Operations, which costs $29.99.

CrossFire X will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S on February 10. There will be no early access to the game. This entry of the game will not be available for PC players, but you can still play the original CrossFire for free on PC.
