Cry-a-thon: Man goes blind while attempting to set Guinness World Record for longest crying hours

A Nigerian man, Tembu Daniel aka Danny Green, went temporarily blind during his quest to break the Guinness World Record for the longest hours spent crying by an individual.
Danny Green made headlines recently after a video of his “cry-a-thon” went viral.

He had planned to cry for 100 hours to set a new record. However, he was only able to cry for 6 hours.
In a recent interview with BBC NEWS, the content creator discussed his record-breaking attempt.

He stated that he went partially blind for 45 minutes during the cry-a-thon.
Danny Green also said he had headaches, puffy eyes, and a bloated face. He said that as a result, he had to reduce his wailing.
“I had to re-strategize and reduce my wailing,” he said.
