It’s time for Destiny 2 players to receive the first hotfix for Season of the Haunted, which is Update 4.1.0.1 and is already live across all platforms. Let’s have a look at the patch notes.
Bungie has just released the new update for Destiny 2, bringing some new changes to the game as well as fixing a number of bugs.
After installing the latest version of the game, you will no longer be annoyed by the undesired spawn locations in the Duality dungeon. Also, the new update fixes the issues with Standard Bearers’ spawn location as well as the functionality problem with the bell inside the raid.

Moreover, the new patch fixes a few issues with Hand Cannons and adds a new feature to Night Rocket Launcher in order to make these weapons feel great again.

Activities – Dungeons and Raids
Duality:
- Fixed an issue where players were spawning in an undesirable location after joining the existing fireteam. You really didn’t want to be there.
- Standard Bearers are now spawning where intended.
- Spamming the bell should no longer stop it from functioning.
- Fixed numerous texture and environment issues.
Grasp of Avarice:
- Fixed an issue where players couldn’t progress in the encounter.
Vow of the Disciple:
- Fixed an issue where previewing weapons in the vendor shop showed placeholder shaders.
Gameplay and Investment – Weapons
- Players will be less likely to spawn into the opposing team’s Witherhoard pools in PvP.
- Bump in the Night Rocket Launcher now has a tracking indicator in the scope when used with the Tracking Module perk.
- Fixed several Hand Cannons that had missing scopes, including The Steady Hand and True Prophecy.
Gameplay and Investment – Bounties and Pursuits
- Fixed an issue where Seasonal Challenges were not correctly tracking Seasonal quest progress across different characters in some circumstances.
Platforms and Systems
- Fixed an issue where players on Xbox platforms could sometimes only see the limited invite and join actions in the roster when viewing Xbox network friends.
Destiny 2 is now available for free on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Stadia, and PC.
