Fatima Abdullahi Washa, popularly known as Fati Washa, was born on February 21, 1993, in Bauchi State. She was born into the family of Mallam Abdullahi and Mallama Abdullahi. She is a member of the Hausa tribe of northern Nigeria.

Washa had her primary education in Bauchi State. She attended the Federal College of Education, Kano State, for her tertiary education.

She has gained quite a good reputation for her work in Kannywood (the Hausa sub-section of the Nigerian movie industry), and she is often referred to as “Tara Washa” or simply “Washa” by fans across the country. In addition to being a skilled actress, Washa is also a proficient dancer, model, and social media influencer.
