‘He too dey talk’: Outrage as Davido speaks on other son, Dawson

Famous Nigerian music star David Adeleke, aka Davido, has received mixed reactions after he disclosed that he has a second son with his fourth baby mother, Larissa, in London.

He made this disclosure during a recent interview on Arab influencer, Anas Bukhash’s podcast when he discussed his children. He claimed that his late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, has a little brother named Dawson who lives in London with his mother, Larissa.

Davido had lost his older son, Ifeanyi, in October 2022 after he drowned in a swimming pool at his father’s home in Banana Island, Lagos. He claimed that it had been a terrible time for him since his Ifeanyi’s demise.

“I miss him every day; there’s tears coming out of my eyes every morning; you don’t have to see it. I look at myself in the mirror, and I said apart from it just being about me, I know how many people love me, I know how many people are depending on me. My son up there is looking down at me. Apart from me being strong for his mom, which is my primary responsibility, I have to be strong for the world,” he said.

However, this did not seem to go well with many who believed that Davido should have kept mute about Dawson. According to them, he talks too much and might have hurt his wife, Chioma’s feelings with the revelation.
