Catch a ride from Kapp’n and if he mentions something about vines when you arrive, you might be one of the lucky ones to end up on this rare island.
They can be found growing up cliffs, harvest them as you would any other plant.

Aside from the above uses, vines can be sold for 50 Bells at Nooks Cranny, although they’re really not worth selling. Although if you don’t want them maybe save some for a friend!
