How To Get and Catch Zarude in Pokemon GO

Following the addition of Zarude to Pokemon Sword and Shield, the Mythical Rogue Monkey Pokemon has now arrived in Pokemon GO as well.

To get Zarude, you’re going to have to complete the brand new Search for Zarude Special Research that is available in the game. To get this Special Research, you simply need to play Pokemon GO between October 1 at 10 am local time and October 10 at 8 pm local time. As long as you have the research itself, you do not have to complete it during that time period.

The Search for Zarude Special Research is not too difficult, just made up of five steps that you need to complete that will reward you with Zarude at the conclusion of the fourth step.

After you get to the step to encounter Zarude, you will have to catch it as you always do. Mythical Pokemon only let you use Poke Balls to catch them and don’t allow any Berries, so that shouldn’t be any different here. Just keep throwing and you’ll eventually add Zarude to your collection in Pokemon GO.
