What Does The Reaper Cloth Do?
The Reaper Cloth, just like in previous generations of Pokemon games, has a very specific and unique purpose. This item is an evolutionary item, meaning it is an item that is needed in order for certain Pokemon to evolve. The Reaper Cloth actually only has one Pokemon that it can be used on, and that is Dusclops. If you give Dusclops a Reaper Cloth and trade it, it will evolve into Dusknoir. In order to ensure that you get your Pokemon back, you will want to make sure that you trade with someone that you know. Otherwise, you may never get to see your Dusclops evolve into Dusknoir.
How To Get The Reaper Cloth
Thankfully, the Reaper Cloth is extremely easy to get. This item can be found throughout the region as one of the dropped items on the ground. However, it is important to note that this drop is extremely rare. Chances are, you can complete the DLC and never find a Reaper Cloth on the ground. So, you will probably want to rely on one of the other two ways, just in case.
The next way to obtain the Reaper Cloth is by finding it in its static location. The only place this item can be found all the time is in the Timeless Woods. You will want to travel to the small plateau that is located on the eastern side of the Timeless Woods. Traveling south from there, you will find a Pokeball with the item inside it nestled among some trees.
The final way to obtain this item is by obtaining it via Pokedex rewards. To do this, you will need to catch 170 Pokemon in the Kitakami Pokedex.
