Knox County— Vincennes Police and Indiana State Police are investigating the death of an 18-year-old man.
Indiana State Police and Vincennes Police responded to 409 East Locust Street in Vincennes at 11:05 p.m. on March 31 for a gunshot victim. An 18-year-old man was shot in the driveway when police arrived. After CPR and first aid, the victim died. Hunter James Ravellette, 18, of Vincennes died.
No further information will be released as this investigation continues. Monday's autopsy.

Investigation into a Death Is Currently Underway in Vincennes
The County of Knox - An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of an 18-year-old man who lived in Vincennes is currently being conducted by both the Indiana State Police and the Vincennes Police.
On Friday evening, March 31, at approximately 11:05 p.m., officers from the Indiana State Police and the Vincennes Police Department responded to a call about a person who had been shot at 409 East Locust Street in Vincennes. Upon arrival, the law enforcement officers discovered a male, age 18, lying in the driveway with a gunshot wound. The victim was given CPR and first aid by the troopers, but it was determined that they were unable to save her life at the scene. Hunter James Ravellette, 18, from Vincennes has been determined to be the person who was killed.
Due to the fact that this investigation is still ongoing, we will not be providing any additional details at this time. On Monday, there will be an autopsy performed.
