“I just hope no one pulls out,” Fans go wild as Shakur Stevenson and Edwin De Los Santos finally agree to fight after a negotiation battle.

Shakur Stevenson and Frank Martin were set to compete for the WBC lightweight championship on November 16. Furthermore, Martin’s camp stated that they called off the fight before it could happen, citing issues with the purse negotiations.
According to Mike Coppinger of ESPN, Stevenson will fight Edwin De Los Santos on the same date. In an interview with Coppinger, Evan Korn stated, “Shakur Stevenson is willing to fight anybody in and around his weight class.” Furthermore, Coppinger stated, “The bout will headline a Top Rank Boxing on ESPN card on Thursday. Three days before Formula 1 debuts in Vegas.”
Stevenson has made a name for himself in boxing at only 26 years old. Furthermore, he has the potential to become a huge star in boxing. Stevenson could become the face of boxing in a few years. Shakur remains undefeated in his last 20 fights, and 10 came via knockout.
Edwin De La Santos is a powerful knockout artist who recently won by TKO in the third round against Jose Valenzuela. Furthermore, he also won by unanimous decision in July over Joseph Adorno. In addition, Santos is a Dominican Republic native with a 16-1 record with 14 KO victories.

Frank needs to fight Keyshawn next makes more sense now… If Shakur dominates in this fight I say the next 3 people on his list should be Loma, Davis and Pitbull Cruz all good fights all good pay days since that's what he wants at the moment. I wouldn't even entertain Haney atp

Furthermore, the fight may not seem very important since both fighters will fight for a vacant belt. However, the matchup between Stevenson and Santos will be interesting to witness inside the ring. Stevenson has aimed to fight Gervonta Davis and Devin Haney in future blockbuster bouts.
