Is Hellblade Next-gen Update Available on PS5? What Does It Include?

Hellblade Senua’s Sacrifice Xbox enhancement update will skip PS5 for now, as the developer says there are no plans for such an update on any other console.
Today, Microsoft and Ninja Theory revealed a big new update for Hellblade Senua’s Sacrifice that adds enhanced visuals and performance to the game on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles.

Currently, Ninja Theory is busy working on two big projects: Hellblade 2 Senua’s Saga and Project Mara. Both games have only been premiered once, and fans are really excited to see what progress they have made over the last few years.
Later this month, Microsoft will host its own showcase at Gamescom 2021, at which fans are hoping to get a new look at some previously announced projects such as Hellblade 2 Senua’s Saga.
That being said, Ninja Theory has already prepared something big for the original Hellblade fans before getting excited about any possible showcase of the sequel.

Three New Graphics Modes
- Xbox Series X:
- Performance Mode: No Ray-Tracing, Dynamic Resolution up to 1080p, and 120 FPS
- Resolution Mode: No Ray-Tracing, Dynamic Resolution up to 4K, and 60 FPS
- Enriched Mode: Ray-Tracing Enabled, Dynamic Resolution up to 4K, and 30 FPS
- Xbox Series S:
- Performance Mode: No Ray-Tracing, 1080p, and 60 FPS
- Resolution Mode: No Ray-Tracing, Dynamic Resolution up to 1440p, and 30 FPS
- Enriched Mode: Ray-Tracing Enabled, 1080p, and 30 FPS

What Platforms Will Receive the Update
Currently, the update is only available on Xbox Series X and S consoles, but Ninja Theory is also working with an external studio to bring the update on PC at a later date.
The developer has no plans for a Hellblade PS5 update at the moment, which probably means the enhancement update will not be available for PlayStation owners anytime soon.
Hellblade Senua’s Sacrifice is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. You can play it for free on Xbox Game Pass.
