Is Spartan Locke in Halo Infinite?

Halo Infinite is now live across all platforms, and players seem to be satisfied with the new story and the new antagonist. But what about the characters from previous titles? Have you found any clue about them? Is Spartan Locke playing any role in Halo Infinite after the events of Halo 5?

After Halo 5 Guardians and a slight backlash from fans over the game’s story concept and characters, 343 Industries seems to have taken the criticism to the heart and has done its best to deliver a campaign that doesn’t make the same old mistakes.

That being said, there were some characters from Halo 5 Guardians, such as Spartan Locke, that players wouldn’t mind knowing more about their fate after the previous entry.

Is Spartan Locke in Halo Infinite?

If you mean as a visible character with dialogues or probably cinematics, the answer is no.

Of course, this is something that probably needs more digging in the world of Halo Infinite and following various clues, but we can guarantee that Spartan Locke has no place in the main story missions of Halo Infinite.

That being said, there is actually a direct reference to Spartan Locke in a UNSC audio log. In this audio log, Dr. Halsey suggests Master Chief sending Spartan Locke to delete Cortana, but Master Chief refuses.

So, this is the only direct reference to Spartan Locke that has been discovered by fans up until now, but as more time passes since launch and players get to spend more hours on the game, there might be even more reference to Spartan Locke and the events of Halo 5 Guardians.

Halo Infinite is now available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. It’s available for free through the Xbox Game Pass service.
