“It’s so f*cking over”: Fans are Already Assuming Chainsaw Man Season 2 to Fall in Quality After Breathtaking Animations

Chainsaw Man is one of the most hyped and anticipated anime and manga series of 2023 and the story written by Tatsuki Fujimoto is one of the most fan-favorite and renowned stories and was already a super hit even before the anime adaptation of the franchise was announced by Mappa.
One of the most sought-after names in the industry, Ryu Nakayama, was involved in the production of season one of Chainsaw Man but recently he confirmed that he won’t be a part of it anymore. Fans are very shocked and have taken it to X, formerly known as Twitter, to discuss it.
Ryu Nakayama won’t be involved in the production of Chainsaw Man season two
When Chainsaw Man season one was announced, everyone was very excited, as the manga sales were already off the charts.
An anime adaptation was expected to be of surreal quality due to it being produced by Mappa and the story being one of the best and most intriguing stories.
However, season one turned out to be a disaster and fans didn’t give it positive reviews and the Blu-ray sales of the series were also extremely low.
Ryu Nakayama was one of the directors in season one and truly outperformed himself and gave us many amazing scenes.
His direction style is one of the best in the industry and fans loved his work in season one. However, he has announced that he won’t be a part of the second season of Chainsaw Man.
Fans have taken to Twitter, now known as X, and are discussing the loss of such a talented director and the scenes they would not get to see in season two.

This actually makes me so sad cuz I really think he could do amazing things if he had another season to use everything he prob learned from doing s1. It’s a shame we’ll never see the full extent of what he could do w the later parts of the story that best suited his style

This announcement was followed by the commencement of his studio, Andraft, which also had staff like Oshi no Ko unit animation director Kenji Segawa, Attack on Titan animator Fumika Ito, and more.

Chainsaw Man is currently being serialized; part one of the story aired from 2018 to 2020, and part two started in 2022.
The anime announced a movie named Chainsaw Man: Reze ARC and fans can barely wait to see Denji and the rest of the squad back in action.
No dates have been announced for the movie but an announcement is expected to be followed up very soon.
The arc will focus on Denji and Reze and their relationship and many fans often claim it to be the best arc in the series.
We have received no updates on Chainsaw Man season two and looking at the tight schedule of Mappa, it is a few years away.
