Jennifer Lopez Is Making Statement Coats a Thing Again

The coat, should you care to wonder, is “an autumnal stream of deep green, moving in architectural elongations.”

In addition to her headline-grabbing rekindled romance with Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez has been making bold fashion moves lately. Once a streetwear icon, she's gone full glam (with a side of sex appeal), recently turning a leather bra into a top.

At the premiere of her beau's new movie, The Tender Bar, she wore a sheer baby blue gown that reminded us of Cinderella by way of a Greek goddess statue.

And then of course, more statement coats. For an appearance on the Today show on February 3, J.Lo wore a swirly marble-patterned velvet trench coat from Fendi…with a silk dress in the same pattern from Fendi…and a matching velvet purse, natch. Eye-catching yet not overwhelming. We dig it.

As she sadly can't be in Ben's arms 24/7, we're glad Ms. Lopez has found other ways of staying warm.
