JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean OP & Theme Song Staff Revealed

JoJo Part 6 Stone Ocean had a new stream event prior to release, revealing the series’ opening and OP theme song.
On November 28, the JoJo Stone Ocean anime had its final stream pre-release on the Warner Bros. Japan Anime YouTube channel, with the seiyuu Fairouz Ai (Jolyne Cujoh), Mariya Ise (F.F.), and Mutsumi Tamura, (Ermes Costello). Tomokazu Seki also joined them once it was revealed he would be voicing antagonist Enrico Pucci.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean OP staff
The opening of JoJo part 6 was handled by Kamikaze Douga. Featuring as always the studio’s iconic and high-quality 3DCG animation. This is the first time since the Part 3 anime that we’re getting Kamikaze Douga back on an OP, really giving it the same vibe as Part 1-3. All the main characters of JoJo Part 6 can be spotted in the OP, with several cool shots of their Stands abilities.
As revealed on the official @JoJo_anime Twitter account, the OP theme song was handled by Ichigo from KISIDA KYODAN & THE AKEBOSI ROCKETS. The lyrics were written by Shoko Fujibayashi. The song was composed by Takahiro Kawata, and the arrangement was done by Masaki Iehara.
The song is named STONE OCEAN like the series, and it’ll be soon available on digital storefronts. You can watch the opening below.
Personally, I’ve liked how the OP ends with various footage from past JoJo anime. It’s very similar to how the Part 1 anime showed several pages of future Parts of the manga at the beginning of its first OP. It’s a really great touch to nail in the fact that the Dio story that started with Phantom Blood is reaching a big conclusion in Part 6.
