In her work, in her style, and in her life, Kristen Stewart never does the expected thing. The hairstyle she wore for a screening of* Clouds of Sils Maria* is proof in the style department.

It was a twisted hairstyle that hinted in the direction of dreadlocks. Not a hairstyle you see on a big star on a red carpet every day. It was a risk, and it's refreshing to see a celebrity so willing to take it.

Of course this isn't the only bold choice she's made with her look. Whether it's dying her hair orange for a movie or chopping her hair into geometric shapes, Stewart is always up for playing around. Perhaps we can all take a lesson from her and do something crazy. Like try a different ponytail height tomorrow. (You can start small—still counts.)
