Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Walked the Red Carpet Together for the First Time in Years

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth did something unexpected last night. No, they didn't re-create the choreography to "Can't Be Tamed" or have a photo shoot with Cyrus' pigs or buy a bunch of foam fingers and twerk. They did something even stranger for the two: They walked the red carpet together for the first time in years.

Cyrus and Hemsworth attended the red-carpet premiere of Thor: Ragnarok (which stars Hemsworth's brother Chris) last night in Hollywood, and Hemsworth looked like an Australian snack, as per usual, dressed in a sleek black suit. Cyrus, meanwhile, wore a psychedelic, floral-print dress that fits her whole "Malibu" aesthetic right now. They cuddled and smiled while posing for pics and were just generally adorable. Somewhere Nicholas Sparks is thinking to himself, You're welcome, world.

For context, the last red carpet Hemsworth and Cyrus walked together was in August 2013 for Hemsworth's film Paranoia, that awesomely bad thriller with Harrison Ford that only, like, nine people saw. That's why their appearance last night is a pretty huge deal. I mean, definitely more than nine people will see Thor: Ragnarok.
