Following Dream and his team’s successful win at the Minecraft Championship 15 Event, fans are eager to know if he’ll be able to carry on the success for another month when Minecraft Championship 16 begins this weekend.

There’s only one way to know which team will come out victorious, and that’s by tuning into MCC 16 to watch all 10 teams battle it out to see who will be crowned the Minecraft Champions.

Minecraft Championship 16 Details

The 16th Minecraft Championship Event will take place this weekend, Saturday, August 28th, 2021.

A total of 10 teams will battle it out to become the new champs, including the likes of Dream, Smajor, PeteZahHutt, TommyInnit, WilburSoot, and plenty more.

All of the teams consist of four players, each with dedicated team names. They will compete in a total of 10 different game modes consisting of:

  • Sky Battle
  • Battle Box
  • TGTTOSAWAF
  • Parkour Tag
  • Sands of Time
  • Survival Games
  • Build Mart
  • Ace Race
  • Hole in The Wall
  • Grid Runners

Many die-hard Minecraft championship fans may notice that one of the games listed above has never been played in an MCC Event before. Grid Runners will be one of the latest modes to make its debut at MCC 16.

The new mode will require players to craft, build, fight, and parkour their way through unique Minecraft challenge rooms and courses. More details can be found on the MCC sub-reddit.

The Minecraft Championship 16 (MCC 16) Event will take place on Saturday, August 28th at the following times:

  • 12PM PT
  • 3PM ET
  • 8PM BST
