The Friendship That Grew
Over time, Mr. Harrigan grows fond of Craig and gives him lotto scratch cards on special occasions like Christmas. Despite the fact that Craig waits years for good news from these scratch cards, he eventually wins $3,000 one fine Christmas. He chooses to use this money to get the elderly tycoon an iPhone.
Even though she initially finds the smartphone’s many capabilities impressive, Harrigan eventually informs Craig that this technology has the potential to harm civilization in a number of ways. Even worse, he says that spreading false information may be done using a smartphone. Which is a real problem in today’s society.
The Affairs In Mr.Harrigan’s Phone
The scary events in the movie start shortly after Harrigan passes away. After Mr. Harrigan’s burial, Craig covertly slipped his phone into the man’s pocket and soon started getting texts from the late billionaire. Craig observes that after talking to Harrigan about a problem, it is usually immediately resolved, occasionally violent.

Craig’s school bully Kenny Yankovich is discovered dead exactly where he had left. After beating him up outside the prom. Even the person accountable for his teacher Ms. Hart’s passing has been found dead. This makes us conclude it was actually Harrigan who was perpetrating the murders.
When Craig visits Mr. Harrigan’s home one day, he opens a closet he wasn’t authorized to. And finds a picture of the latter’s mother. This realization makes Craig realize that, like him, Harrigan too lost his mother when he was a little child. He was presumably so fond of Craig for this reason.
In order to avoid Harrigan, Craig throws away his phone. This endeavor was made to prevent any additional fatalities. Craig believed that even after Harrigan passed away, he continued to provide him with work. He so declares that he wants his pockets to be empty when he passes away and is buried in one of his last remarks in the movie.
