MTG Commander Legends 2 Cards, Release Date, Elder Brain Variants

MTG Commander Legends 2 set of cards has been officially revealed, adding new packs from the universe of Dungeons & Dragons: Adventures in the Forgotten Realms. Let’s have a look at what’s coming with this new bundle.

Almost two years after the release of the first Commander Legends series back in 2020, now a new version is in the works to hit stores later in Spring 2022. Commender Legends Battle for Baldur’s Gate is a new D&D-based adventure for Magic The Gathering players with some brand new cards.

As revealed during the recently released Weekly MTG video, Commander Legends Battle for Baldur’s Gate content will be available both physically and digitally through the MTG Arena version will be released a bit later.

MTG Commander Legends 2 Release Date

The physical packs for Commander Legends Battle for Baldur’s Gate will be available in stores worldwide on June 10, 2022. However, the digital content for MTG Arena, known as Alchemy Horizons: Baldur’s Gate, will be available in July 2022.

Similar to most previous content, Commander Legends 2 will be available in Set, Draft, and Collector Booster versions as well as a full Bundle and a Pre-release Pack. Four Commander decks will be available with the new pack, including Party Time (White-Black), Mind Flayarrrs (Blue-Black), Draconic Dissent (Blue-Red), Exit from Exile (Red-Green).

Commander Legends Battle for Baldur’s Gate Preview Cards

During the announcement showcase, we got to see the preview version of some cards, including Land cards as well as three versions of the Elder Brain card. If you get a Collector Booster Display of the new Commander Legends pack, you will receive the But-a-Box promo version of Elder Brain.

Later in May 2022, we will get more information on Commander Legends 2 as more cards will be showcased.
