1:30 P.M. (lunch with my girlfriends)
It's so hard to avoid dairy—cheese is my life! I have to stay strong, so I order grilled chicken with brown rice, spinach with garlic, and pesto dressing on the side.
Throughout my day, I try to drink lots of water to stay hydrated. On days when I feel like I'm not getting enough vegetables, I'll grab a pressed green juice, which are almost everywhere these days, especially in L.A. (My favorites are Pressed Juicery, Earth Bar, Glow BIO, and Kreation Juicery.)
5:00 P.M. (photo shoot)
I grabbed myself a mini tuna sandwich and a side salad of mangos drizzled with apple cider vinegar to keep my energy up for the shoot. Sometimes I'll even do a shot of apple cider vinegar—my dad got me started on this when I was 16. It doesn't taste that great, but you get accustomed to the taste. It's a great way to cleanse your liver (think of it like Drano for your liver).
__8:00 P.M. (shoot wraps) __
I'm off to a dinner meeting at 8:45 P.M. with my manager at one of my favorite restaurants in L.A.—a great Italian spot, Madeo. I go for the beef carpaccio with arugula as my appetizer and Dover sole fish with grilled vegetables as my main. I've had a long day, so I treat myself to a glass of merlot.
That's a typical day for me! We are all human beings, and we all have insecurities, but it's about being healthy and happy with yourself. I'm not perfect, and I will indulge in pizza and sweets on occasion. The goal is to make the majority of your decisions good for your body. So listen to your body, and treat it like your temple. If you eat like crap all the time, quite frankly you're going to feel like crap. I hope this gives you some insight into my diet, and remember: You are all beautiful, all shapes, all sizes. Curvy, thin, fit, muscular—embrace what you have and make 2014 your best year yet.
