The Philadelphia 76ers star guard James Harden faces backlash from fans after a poor performance against the Toronto Raptors where he missed many open opportunities to get three-pointers and as a result, the Sixers lost the game by 114-119 on Thursday night.

The Sixers have already made their seats in the 2022 playoffs and currently, they are placed on the fourth seed of the east. As per the playoffs rule, they will face the fifth seed team in the same conference which is Toronto Raptors. Both teams have confirmed their tickets for playoffs and are expected to face each other in the first round of the postseason games, but the Sixers’ latest loss to the Raptors has raised many questions about the Philadelphian team.

As playoffs are approaching every team is getting ready with their firepower but Sixers guard Harden was seen diming down in the recent game against the Raptors where he scored 13 points and was 1-of-4 from behind the arc while from field goals he just made 3 from 12 attempts. The former MVP was seen passing the ball even in the situation where he was free to shoot the three-pointers

The 76ers were looking invincible when they formed the new duo of James Harden and Joel Embiid after the most successful trade deal in the NBA history, but it seems that deal has started showing its flaws. Harden was expected to be a game-changer for the Sixers but in the last five games, he has completely failed to perform for the team, and not only that his field goal and three-point percentage both have gone down to a drastic level.
