‘Petty revenge’: Nigerian man collects millions from ex-girlfriend to help her ‘japa’, fails to deliver

A Nigerian man has gotten his revenge on his ex-girlfriend, who had broken his heart and fled with another man.

The man had financed the girl’s education, hoping to marry her eventually.

However, when he proposed, she shocked him by declining the offer. After completing her studies, she claimed to have fallen out of love with him.

Heartbroken, the man left Nigeria and relocated abroad.

Some few years later, the lady started seeing another man, and they both wanted to relocate abroad.

Seeking help with documentation, she contacted him, and he promised to assist.

The man deceitfully accepted a substantial sum from her, provided by the lady’s current boyfriend, who sold valuable properties to raise the money.

However, upon receiving the funds, the heartbroken man decided to withhold them and refused to carry out the agreed-upon tasks.

He viewed it as a repayment for all the money he had invested in the relationship before she left him.
