Three months into his prison sentence for child pornography, things are reportedly not going well for former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle.

Three months into his prison sentence for child pornography, things are reportedly not going well for former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle.

According to In Touch Weekly, Fogle has gained 30 pounds and has been subject to regular "threats, physical attacks and constant taunting."

The magazine cites an exclusive interview with a "prison insider," as well as a recently released inmate from the federal prison in Englewood, Colorado. Fogle is housed at a minimum security prison in Littleton, Colorado.

"One of the men called Jared a 'dirty child rapist' and told him to 'get the (expletive) out' and not come back," the former inmate told In Touch.

As for the weight gain, the magazine's insider says it is "probably from depression," as well as a diet that includes cake, Honey Buns and other pastries.

"He's been known to eat an entire box (of Honey Buns) in one sitting!" the insider said.

Fogle was sentenced in November last year to more than 15 years in prison in connection with child pornography and sex crime charges. The former pitchman pleaded guilty to receiving child porn and also admitted to having sex with two 16-year-olds.

"I've been living a life of deception and lies," he told the court at his sentencing. "My life revolved around alcohol, pornography and prostitution."

Federal agents also found thousands of pictures depicting child pornography on computers at Fogle's Zionsville home. He apologized for his actions and admitted to the accusations.

"Not a day will go by that I will not think about them and what I did. I wish I recognized these problems years ago. I truly do," Fogle said in court. "I want to redeem my life. I want to help others."
