Quintessential Quintuplets Movie Explained, Release Estimate, Season 3 Status

On October 26, TBS Animation revealed a new release date estimate trailer and key visual for the upcoming The Quintessential Quintuplets movie (season 3).
The day marked the 1st year anniversary of the puzzle gacha game titled Gotoubun no Hanayome Itsutsugo chan wa Puzzle wo Gotoubun Dekinai. A special stream was held for the occasion, and the announcement was shared at the end of the stream.

The Quintessential Quintuplets movie release estimate, new PV and key visual
The new movie is the equivalent of a season 3, following The Quintessential Quintuplets ∬ (season 2) aired in early 2021. The Quintessential Quintuplets movie will be launching in Japanese theaters in early Summer 2022. And it’s very likely the movie will be launched in the West a few months after that, in late 2022.
The Quintessential Quintuplets movie will be adapting the story where season 2 left off, starting Chapter 87 / Volume 11 and will be a finale, adapting the end of the series from Volume 14.

Additionnally, the announcement stream is definitely fun to watch as it featured all of the main cast of seiyuu (Japanese voice actresses and actors). With the voices of Ichika Nakano (Kana Hanazawa), Nino Nakano (Ayana Taketatsu), Miku Nakano (Miku Itō), Yotsuba Nakano (Ayane Sakura), Itsuki Nakano (Inori Minase), and Natsumi Takamori (Raiha Uesugi).

Celebrating the new announcement, the original author of the Quintessential Quintuplets manga, Negi Haruba, shared a special Halloween illustration on Twitter.
Besides the puzzle gacha game on mobile, Mages also released a Switch and PS4 Quintessential Quintuplets game: Gotoubun no Hanayome ∬~ Natsu no Omoide mo Gotoubun ~. Both games are Japan exclusives.
The original Quintessential Quintuplets (Gotoubun no Hanayome) manga started on August 9, 2017, in Weekly Shonen Magazine. And ended on February 19, 2020.
