Randall E. Kelley, 54, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023. The Bristol native was born in Manchester, to Frederick Kelley and Lynne (Cote) Heroux. Randall was an exceptional businessman, loving husband, and dedicated member of the community. In this article, we celebrate his life and legacy.


Early Life and Career

Randall grew up in Manchester and attended Manchester Central School. He later went on to work with his father in his car dealership in Candia before moving to Manchester to work in dealerships there. He eventually started his own business, "Dirty Deeds Professional Services," in Londonderry, eight years ago.

Starting "Dirty Deeds Professional Services"

Randall was passionate about starting his own business, and "Dirty Deeds Professional Services" was his dream come true. He provided excellent services to his clients and became a well-known name in the area. His hard work, dedication, and passion for his work made him successful.

Passion for Politics and Community Service

Randall was incredibly passionate about where our country and society were headed politically. Although a recent transplant to Bristol, he served the town on the Planning Board and as Chair of the CIP committee. He could be found Friday mornings at "The Pit," where he and other like-minded citizens would debate and consider what next steps could help to better the community, state, and country.

Family Life and Hobbies

Randall married Janice (Davideit) two years ago, and the two became a perfect pair. They created their own little farm, Turdukinfarm, which he loved. He proceeded to plant gardens, tend animals, work on renovating the farmhouse, shop, shuttle grandchildren, and generally oversee all other household activities so Janice could focus on her business. Randall also enjoyed hunting and fishing and, in his younger years, Karate and bodybuilding.

Celebration of Life and Donations

The family invites you to attend and share your stories of his life at a celebration of his life on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 6:30 pm at the Historic Old Town Hall, 45 Summer Street, Bristol. Parking with a short walk may be found at the Bristol Town offices, 5 School Street, the Bristol Elementary School, 55 School Street, or in the municipal lots in downtown Bristol. In lieu of flowers, any donations to help support the ones he has left behind would be greatly appreciated. Donations may be made by using clicking on the donations tab at the top of the page.

Mental Health and Grief

Janice shares this personal reflection: "Mental Illness is a real disease which robs us of our ability to think clearly, often depriving the individual the ability to seek counsel in a timely fashion. Voices, thoughts, stresses, SIN, all play a role, and when decisions are made by those that are unhealthy, we are left with the questions. Here is your answer: He and he alone decided to end his life, for his own reasons, and his Death is Enough. We can't change it. We cannot try to assume or judge why someone makes those decisions. We don't need to make sense of it, it is up to God at this point. There is no logical reason someone makes this choice. Comforting someone experiencing this kind of grief, must be, meeting them where.
