Ryan Reynolds Shared a Series of Unseen Photos With Blake Lively in Honor of Her 35th Birthday

Blake Lively let fans follow along throughout her 35th birthday celebration, but the occasion wouldn’t be complete without an Instagram tribute from her loving husband, Ryan Reynolds.

The festivities began a whole 11 days before Lively’s official birthday on August 25. On August 14, the Gossip Girl star shared a series of photos from a trip to Disneyland with her older sister Robin Lively. “Find me a happier place on earth to start my birthday celebrations early,” Blake captioned the Instagram carousel of Disney pics. “I’ll wait.” 

From the photos, we can tell that the Lively sisters had a blast visiting Princess Jasmine, Jessie from Toy Story 2, and even a few Stormtroopers, while also making time to visit the California Adventure Park across the street.

On August 25, Reynolds shared his own series of photos on Instagram to honor his wife of nearly 10 years. “Happy Birthday, @blakelively. You’re spectacular,” he wrote. “I’m not sure if you were born or invented. Also, thank you for urging me to leave the house every now and again. ❤️”

Lively replied, “😊😊♥️ my guy 🫶.” To be honest, this is pretty much as earnest as the couple gets. The pair are known for trolling each other online, especially on occasions like birthdays, but Reynolds showed off his softer side in this tribute. Although, he did include one photo of his wife with a leaf of lettuce on her face…swipe to slide seven.
