Salsarita’s, Brixx among local brands on ‘America’s Favorite Restaurant Chains’ list – WSOC TV

CHARLTOTE — Several well-known brands with ties to Charlotte have landed on Newsweek’s list of “America’s Favorite Restaurant Chains.”
Salsarita’s Fresh Mexican Grill, a fast-casual concept that got its start in Charlotte in 2000, earned five stars — the highest score available. It has since grown to nearly 70 locations in more than a dozen states, according to its website.
Brixx Wood-Fired Pizza also received five stars. Since opening its first restaurant in Charlotte’s Dilworth neighborhood in 1998, Brixx has added more than two dozen locations across the Southeast.
