After finishing runner-up at Queen’s Club and winning the title at Los Cabos, Cameron Norrie has been on a poor run since the North American swing. After winning a match each at Atlanta and Washington, he bowed out of the opening round at Toronto Masters, Cincinnati Masters and US Open.

Casper Ruud has been the find of the season so far. He had an exceptional clay court swing post Wimbledon where he won back-to-back titles at Swedish Open, Swiss Open and the Austrian Open. This week in San Diego, he blasted past 3-time grand slam champion Andy Murray in the Round of 16 before beating Lorenzo Sonego and Grigor Dimitrov in the quarters and semis respectively.
