Shock as groom dumps bride on wedding day after his mum described her as too short and ugly

In a shocking twist of events, a groom abandoned his bride after his mother dscribed her as too short and ugly.

The groom’s mother is reported to have met the Tunisian bride for the first time on the wedding day after previously seeing her in photographs.

Images shared from the ceremony captured the couple-to-be posing side by side in their wedding attire before things deteriorated.

According to Mirror, the bride, identified as Lamia Al-Labawi took to social media after the heart-breaking incident to explain that she’s an orphan and had spent a lot preparing for the wedding.

Al-Labawi said she found it difficult to face people since the incident.

In other news, a Nigerian lecturer that went viral after pictures of his three wives and 18 children surfaced during Salah celebration has disclosed that he plans to take a new wife.

While responding about his family picture in an interview with the Punch, the lecturer at the Umar Bn Khattab College of Education, Kaduna, Mohammed Sulaiman, said it’s a family tradition for everyone to take pictures together during festive.

Mohammed said he had no intention of being a polygamous man while he was young; however, he added that his mentality changed as he grew and understood the philosophy of life.
