Spider train horror game Choo-Choo Charles finally gets Xbox release date

Developer Two Star Games has announced that its open-world horror game featuring a freaky spider train, Choo-Choo Charles, will launch on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One on December 21.

At this point, most of us have seen pictures and clips, or at the very least, have heard about Choo-Choo Charles, which was announced for Xbox in June 2022. It's been exclusively available on PC for the last year, earning a "very positive" rating on Steam, but now Two Star Games has revealed that it's coming to Xbox next week.

Charles is a bloodthirsty train, and you need to destroy him.

Navigate a massive play area in your trusty old engine. These winding tracks are treacherous, so you'll need to plan each mission carefully. Be wary when traveling on foot or switching the track's direction; Charles might be waiting for you.

Choo-Choo Charles has you navigate an open world on foot and in your very own upgradeable train while being hunted by the horrific spider train, Charles. You'll need to scavenge supplies, help out the local townspeople, and complete various missions so you can upgrade your train and finally put a stop to Charles.

This game looks chaotic in all the right ways, and we can't wait to take the fight to Charles... sorry, mate. It'll be interesting to see if Choo-Choo Charles can earn a spot on our list of the best Xbox horror games when it launches on the platform next week.
