INDIANAPOLIS - Customers of a Family Dollar store escaped injury Wednesday when a car crashed into the building.

Metro police say the driver of a Ford Focus was backing out of a store parking spot at 2345 E. 30th St. near Keystone at about 8:30 p.m.  The driver continued into 30th Street traffic, where a collision took place.  The Focus then struck another vehicle and slammed into the building, coming to rest inside the store.

Investigators say the driver was not injured. Structural damage to the building was limited to the front entrance. There was also damage to interior displays and inventory.
