Teen sentenced to 10 years in Lawrence Central rape case

at school was sentenced Friday to ten years in prison.

Jabril Scruggs was found guilty of raping a female classmate in a locker room at Lawrence Central High School.

​The attack happened in 2014, during school hours.

Four years of the ten-year sentence are suspended. Scruggs was also sentenced to two years on sex offender probation.
