If your family is looking for holiday-themed events and exhibits, Indianapolis has a lot to offer.
INDIANAPOLIS — Now that most of us have wrapped up Thanksgiving celebrations, it's time to move into the holidays and all the family-oriented events happening around Indianapolis.
Diana Iltzesch's family was visiting the Indiana State Museum Friday.
"This is our first time, yeah. We are going to the Children's Museum tomorrow, but this is our first time doing the history museum," she said. "We get to play together while where here and we don't get to do that all the time, do we?"
You'll find plenty of fun, festive things to do with your family at the Children's Museum of Indianapolis.
"It's all about winter magic and how it comes to where people are having a good time and celebrating," said Melissa Trumpey, Children's Museum of Indianapolis.
The Children's Museum has a lot to offer.
"So you can go in and throw snowballs, you can visit all of the characters we have in the exhibit," said Trumpey
It's all about spreading holiday cheer.
"The families that come out today, they will be some of the first to visit with Santa this year," Trumpey said. "They can also see our new WinterFaire exhibit. The holidays are so special. You spend it with your families, your friends. You're creating memories. We love that families make the Children's Museum a part of their annual traditions."
