After watching the documentary Helvetica, I went through a brief period of typeface obsession. I'd study Georgia or Bookman and try to decide why I preferred one over the other. And since I have a few graphic designers as friends (Hi Ana, Jaime and Frankie!!!) I always have someone to bounce ideas off of when thinking about which font conveys the message I want. But the attitude of this new typeface from a designer in New York leaves no room for interpretation.

I discovered "Effing font" while reading an article on Nerve (warning! link is NSFW!) this morning. New York city-based graphic designer Alex Merto recently created a super racy typeface where each letter is in the shape of something sex-related. The letter B is in the shape of breasts and the letter J is wearing a condom (another word for condom is jimmy hat). There are some very graphic (read: NSFW) letters so if you're in the office or feeling bashful, it might not be the best idea to click on over to Alex's website.
