UNCW student from Waxhaw found dead in on-campus apartment – WSOC TV

A University of North Carolina-Wilmington student from the Charlotte area was found dead Tuesday morning in an on-campus apartment.

Douglas Perez, 21, was from Waxhaw.

The university’s police department is investigating, but there are no signs of foul play.

The cause of death hasn’t been determined.
