VALORANT Episode 4 Act 2 Release Date and Start Time Explained

VALORANT players are eagerly waiting for Episode 4 Act 2 to start. Well, here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming major update.

Riot Games’ VALORANT has come really far in a very short time. We now have 19 agents in the game, the latest one being Neon. Moreover, there are now seven maps, and fans are really enjoying the new Fracture map.

Now, with a new update upon us, fans expect some amazing new content arriving in VALORANT. Of course, it’s heartbreaking that we won’t get a new agent or map in Episode 4, Act 2. However, the update will bring the much-awaited Yoru Rework. Along with that, the new Battle Pass and Gaia’s Vengenace weapon skins will be available with the update.

Here’s When Valorant Episode 4 Act 2 Starts

Riot Games will kick off Episode 4 Act 2 in Valorant on Tuesday, March 1st, 2022, or Wednesday, March 2nd, depending on your region. The devs confirmed that Episode 4 Act 1 is ending on February 28th, 2022, on Twitter. So, that gives you approximately a day to complete the current battle pass if you are still behind.

Valorant Episode 4 Act 2 Start Time Explained

Riot Games has been following a pattern of releasing new major updates at different times for different regions. Usually, the update for the new Act arrives in North America at 6 AM PST (Pacific Timing). So, it’s safe to say that the upcoming Episode 4 Act 2 update will also start at the above time on March 1st for players in NA.

On the other hand, the new update arrives at 5 AM GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) for the Europe region the following day. So, if the release pattern remains the same, Valorant Episode 4 Act 2 will arrive in the EU on March 2nd at 5 AM GMT.

Also, the maintenance time for major updates lasts for around four hours. However, the downtime may be less since we aren’t getting a new agent or map in the next Act.

Once Riot releases the update, you can check the update’s status on the Valorant server status page. Currently, the server status shows that “The Act’s Competitive Queue is ending soon.”

The in-game status for Indian servers shows that the Competitive Queue will end on March 1st, 2022, at 7:30 PM IST (Indian Timing), which is 6 AM in PST. So, you still have some time to grind in the Ranked game before your rank resets for the upcoming Act.
