The Crown faction is a brand-new faction added to Warzone 2 DMZ, featuring a brand-new set of Faction Missions for Modern Warfare 2 owners to complete. Each mission offers exclusive rewards and XP, and completing each mission will bring you that much closer to acquiring your third Insured Slot. While some of the Crown Faction Missions are a breeze to complete, others require you to perform more difficult tasks. Such is the case with the mission: Whistleblower, which tasks you with finding and delivering two items into a Dumpster Dead Drop.

Whistleblower is a Tier 1 Mission for the Crown faction, and is one of several missions that will need to be completed in order to unlock the Tier 1 Story Mission: Piracy. In order to complete it, you will need to loot the Governor's Laptop from the Town Hall on Ashika Island, deliver it to the Ashika Beach Club Dumpster Dead Drop, and then deliver a screwdriver to the same Dead Drop, all in one deployment.
Finding The Governor's Laptop
The Governor's Laptop is located in the City Hall, and in order to get to it, you will need the City Hall Hideout Key. While keys do not exactly have a definitive spawn in DMZ, they can often be found within Duffel bags, Supply Caches, and Lockers. Eliminating an HVT is also a great way to stock up on keys, as they always drop one once they are killed. While the aforementioned methods are great ways to obtain keys, they do not guarantee the City Hall Hideout Key. However, this very key is rewarded upon completing the Legion Tier 1 Mission: Health Conscious.
Once you are in possession of a City Hall Hideout key, head over to the City Hall - located on the southeastern side of Ashika Island. There are two front entrances to this building, along with a third entrance at the back. We recommend taking the back entrance, as notably fewer AI guard this area.
The City Hall Hideout is heavily guarded by AI, most of which are armored. Make sure to take your time and slowly clear each floor of the City Hall to make completing your mission smoother. Once you have taken out all the bots, you are free to loot the Governor's Laptop - which is situated near the desks of the office area on the right-hand side of the main entrance.
If you cannot find the Governor's Laptop in this area, then it means another player has already taken it. Unless you are able to track down, eliminate, and loot the player who has taken it, you will have to try again in another deployment.
You will also need to find a screwdriver, which is often found within toolboxes, filing cabinets, and computers - all of which are abundant on Ashika Island and can be found within the City Hall, or on your way to the Ashika Beach Club Dead Drop.
Delivering The Governor's Laptop
Once you have both a screwdriver and the Governor's Laptop, you will then need to deliver them to the Beach Club Dead Drop in the same deployment. Luckily, you will not have to venture far, as the Beach Club is just opposite the City Hall. The Dead Drop here is situated at the rear of the gas station of this area. Pop both items into the dumpster to complete your mission.
