‘Wetin be this’: Reactions as video of woman with snails on her face goes viral

A video of a woman using snails as a facial treatment has triggered reactions from netizens. 

In the TikTok posted by @haykraftbeautystudio on Sunday, the woman was laying down and receiving a facial.

But this was no ordinary facial; the woman had live snails crawling over her face.

The video then cycled through different people, presumably other customers who had gotten the same facial.

The video, captioned “SNAIL FACIALS”, sparked reactions on social media, with many marvelling at the extremes women would go to in the name of beauty. Some others wondered if the video was just facial therapy or something diabolical.
