When Will The New Sniper Be Added?

With Season 2 Reloaded finally kicking off in Cold War, many fans have began wondering where the new ZRG 20mm sniper rifle is?
Here’s everything we know about the new sniper rifle, including when you can expect to see it added to Cold War and Warzone.

ZRG 20mm – New Cold War Sniper
The ZRG-20mm Sniper was announced when Season 2 of Cold War and Warzone first began back on February 25. The new sniper rifle is rumoured to have a fast reload time, with a high amount of damage.
To unlock the ZRG-20mm when it finally releases, players will be able to complete in-game challenges which will reward them with the new weapon. However, if you don’t want to spend the time completing the challenges, you will also be able to purchase a blueprint of the weapon from the store.
When the new weapon was announced, Treyarch stated that it would be coming ‘during the season’. So with the new mid-season update officially here, fans were expecting the new sniper rifle to come along with it. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
When Will It Be Released?
Unfortunately, Treyarch hasn’t commented on the release of the new weapon apart from stating in the Season 2 roadmap that it would be released during the season.
As Season 2 is set to finish on April 22, you’ll be able to get your hands on the new sniper anytime between now and the aforementioned date.
Although there’s no confirmation, it’s likely that the new ZRG-20mm will be arriving fairly soon now that Season 2 Reloaded is underway.
Cold War Season 2 Reloaded
Season 2 kicked off on February 25 in Cold War and Warzone, but that wasn’t enough for players. Now, Treyarch is back with a bang as Season 2 Reloaded is officially here for Cold War and Warzone.
